Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha
fans won't be happy to hear this piece of news as the two stars will
not share the screen space together in R Balki's upcoming film
Shamitabh. Amitabh recently revealed that the two actors star in the
film but don't have any scene together"We don't actually come together... its part of the sequence and when you see the film, you will understand how it's portrayed. But, yes its always great welcome to have such great luminaries in the film," he told reporters during the film's trailer launch.
But Amitabh won't mind working with Rekha in future if he comes across an interesting script.
"Balki keeps saying he wants to design a film with us (Big B and Rekha) but let's see if somebody comes with interesting script... Why not," he added.
The buzz about Amitabh and Rekha starring together in Shamitabh started doing the rounds when Dhanush uploaded a picture with Rekha revealing that she will be a part of the film.

With the first trailer of the film out Amitabh is excited about Shamitabh. The actor also says they have recorded the dialogues first before shooting for the film.
"The entire script of the film was recorded first, all the dialogues I recorded in my voice. When we used to shoot, we used to play the recordings and shoot. There was too much of work and we had worked hard for this film. Balki said do what I say and now after the film was ready, we again did the dubbing. It's a different film for me as I have never done like this before and the credit goes to Balki."
Shamitabh also stars Dhnaush and Akshara Haasan. The film is slated to be released on February 6.
