A website quoted a source close to Sushant saying, "Sushant and Ankita were in Dubai for New Years. It was there that Sushant finally proposed to her."
And, if reports are to be believed, the duo will marry in June-July 2015. "The only reason Sushant and Ankita have been putting off the wedding is because of their hectic schedules. Now that Ankita's long-running serial Pavitra Rishta is over, she has time. Sushant on the other hand, has just completed Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. He has some time before he starts shooting for his three films this year Dhoni, Paani and Homi Adjania's next. This year seems like the best time to get the wedding out of the way."
The live-in partner Sushant and Ankita’s wedding will be a big fat affair with rituals to take place in Delhi and Indore. "There will be two events. One wedding will be in Delhi for Sushant's family and the other in Indore for Ankita's family and friends. The couple needs a minimum of two weeks for the wedding. They need this break to get legally wedded", says a source.
Apparently, Ankita has given marriage ultimatum to Sushant. She says if the marriage doesn't happen now she won't marry him.
Sushant, who has movies lined up for 2015 took 10 days break from work to ring in New Year with Ankita in Dubai. The couple started dating on the sets of TV show ‘Pavitra Rishta’ in 2009.
