Sonam Kapoor To Direct Films

Sonam Kapoor is enjoying the best phase of her career so far having won critical attention with Raanjhana and bagged interesting films like Khoobsurat and Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo.
But the actress’s sights are set even higher. “I will get into direction,” Sonam reveals. “I want to direct but I don’t know what I want to direct.” But ask her if she would like to helm one of her father Anil Kapoor’s hits and she demurs, “I don’t think I will remake my dad’s films.”
For now, the actress has parked her dreams safely in the future. “I will direct only a couple of years later when I want to take a break. But right now I love my work (acting) a lot. I don’t think I will ever stop acting but will direct if something that inspires me enough to take a backseat.”
