Alia Bhatt (born 15 March 1993) is an Indian film actress and singer who appears in Bollywood films. The daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhattand actress Soni Razdan, she made her acting debut with Karan Johar's romantic drama Student of the Year(2012), a box office success. She subsequently garnered praise for her performances in Imtiaz Ali's road movieHighway (2014) and the highly successful romantic drama 2 States(2014).
