Sonakshi Sinhas Mission Tollywood Fails. Yet,

She Is Far From Heartbroken

After successfully making her mark in Bollywood, Sonakshi Sinha was aiming to conquer Tollywood next. Or, so it seems. Post sharing screen space with megastar Rajinikanth in Lingaa, Sonakshi was looking forward to do another big banner South film opposite Mahesh Babu. But that’s not going to happen, we hear. In 2013, Shotgun Junior excitedly announced a film opposite Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu and was quite anxious to start shooting the film.
Post R…Rajkumar, Sonakshi was supposed to start shooting the Telugu film but that was put on the backburner by the makers and Sonakshi started shooting Rajinikanth’s Lingaa.
Sonakshi informs, “I was supposed to start the Telugu film with Mahesh Babu at the end of 2013 and later beginning of 2014 but the director chose to make a Hindi film, instead. It’s a period film and was a terrific subject. I don’t know what is happening to the film now. I guess it has been shelved now.”
